Global urban strategy project by MVRDV with Airbus.

Unlike many other ‘disruptive’ players in the urban air mobility field, EU-owned Airbus are concerned with cooperating with existing city governance and infrastructure.

As Urban Designer at MVRDV I was involved with the development of transport infrastructure nodes for flying vehicles that integrate with existing ground infrastructure and public spaces.

This involved researching and identifying key sites of intervention, and designing desirable integrated outcomes for cities including Saõ Paulo, Paris, Jakarta and San Francisco.

I also led a public engagement project using augmented reality to exhibit Urban Air Mobility concepts in Oslo and Shenzhen.
