Paul is an architect and urbanist who investigates pressing issues in urban design, development and politics. He combines spatial analysis, cut-through provocations and civic engagement to make alternative propositions for contested sites and futures.

Paul has extensive international experience in architecture, urban design, public art and media. This includes as Project Architect at McBride Charles Ryan, Research Fellow at Strelka Institute, Urban Designer at MVRDV, Senior Architect at Snøhetta and Associate at Monash Art Projects. In 2022 he co-founded design collective EXCX.

Paul has a PhD in urban design from RMIT University, where he has taught design and history since 2015.
